Crowdsourcing Net Rights

The goal of this part of the project is understand and popularize the emerging idea of net rights, as pioneered by the idea of a “magna carta” for the Web by Tim Berners-Lee. To achieve that aim, we set up a contributive categorization on Net Rights and augment existing corpus with links to related technologies and expert points of views.

The first step is to collect previous contributions on Net Rights and related systems, and annotate them after holding seminars on related subjects. Afterwards, we will in combination with an MOOC (online course), discuss the ethics these net rights with a global audience.

Collective annotations

If you want to participate, here is a quick tutorial about hypothes.is.

Documents

The following documents are starting points for a discussion and interpretation of three different Net Rights frameworks (global, European and French). They embed the Web Annotation system proposed by hypothes.is. You can add page notes and annotations to the NextLeap group but don't forget to set the privacy setting to share them with the group.
